Terms of use
The terms for using the Trustwelt website and services.
Who provides the service
Trustwelt is provided by SIAL Networks Limited, 141c High Road, Loughton, England, IG10 4LT, registered as company number 13552665 at Companies House, England and Wales.
This website
The website describes Trustwelt and its plans. Nothing on it is an offer; a subscription is formed when you subscribe in the Portal or in Tenant Admin at the price shown to you there.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in factors, your recovery codes and your vault master password safe. Trustwelt cannot recover a Vault Lite vault: nobody but you holds its key. An organisation is responsible for the people it invites and the authorities it delegates to them.
Plans, subscriptions and cancellation
Paid plans are subscriptions, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before payment, renewed until cancelled. Standard is subscribed and cancelled by the person in the Portal; Family by the family's organiser in the Portal, under the Family plan terms; Business and Enterprise are subscribed and cancelled by the organisation's main Tenant Admin in Tenant Admin.
Cancelling keeps the plan until the end of the paid period. When a period ends without renewal, the account or organisation loses the plan's features after a short grace period; vaults stay on your computers and keep working.
Vault Lite
Vault Lite is licensed separately under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or later, with the additional terms published with its source. These terms do not restrict what that licence allows.
Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload or try to get around the security of the service, and do not use it to break the law. Security research is welcome under the rules on the vulnerability reporting page.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability to you in connection with the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for it in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or data that we could not reasonably foresee.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales.
