Company
Trust should be a decision, not an assumption.
Trustwelt exists because a successful login says who someone is, but not whether the device they are on should be trusted right now, and because the passwords people rely on belong on their own computers, not in someone else's cloud.
Who we are
Who operates Trustwelt.
Trustwelt is built and operated by SIAL Networks. The legal entity that provides the service is SIAL Networks Limited, 141c High Road, Loughton, England, IG10 4LT, registered as company number 13552665 at Companies House, England and Wales.
SIAL Networks also makes Casewelt and SialFlow. They are separate products with their own accounts, data and sessions; none of them shares a login or a database with Trustwelt.
Principles
The rules we build by.
- Unknown ≠ trustedMissing evidence is never counted as good evidence.
- Authentication ≠ authorisationKnowing who someone is does not decide what they may do.
- MFA ≠ device trustA second factor proves the person, not the device.
- Claim = evidenceWe publish the model, the format and the source, so what we say can be checked.
What we do differently
Choices we made on purpose.
No remote shell
Remediation uses typed, signed actions. We will not ship a free-form command channel to your devices.
Same security on every plan
Plans change administration and limits, never encryption or isolation.
Secrets stay with you
Passwords live in the vault on your computer, and travel only sealed end to end. Our cloud is not a password store.
Used, never shared
An organisation shares the use of a login or a card. Nobody receives the password, and every use is on record.
Open where it matters
The vault that holds your secrets is free software. Its format, its threat model and its tests are public.
